The story of a girl and a boy!

In a land far far and away (called Seattle) there once was a very beautiful girl named Katelyn

and an incredibly dashing boy named Jaxon.

Jaxon thought Katelyn was the prettiest girl he'd ever seen in his incredibly long life of 17 1/2 months and therefore he did all kinds of heroic and noble deeds to impress her and win her love forever (or at least until Mommy was back).

He tried to win her with impressive feats of acrobatic strength...

...and incredibly romantic gestures. But for all his attempts to win her heart...

All she did was run away!

So in frustration the brave and romantic Jaxon...decided girls weren't worth it and gave up!

But little did he know, the fair Katelyn had been watching all along.

And now she realized that truly she did desire his attention (and his fishy crackers).

She sat and pondered how ever she would get this brave young fohawk-wearing boy to give her back his heart.

She thought she'd try to impress him by showing him how she could perfectly perform the "touchdown" sign.

And even tried to chase him down with kisses ...

But all to no avail...he was long gone.

Then the gorgeous and brilliant Katey had a brilliant thought...."What do I need boys for anyway!"

Just then her friend Mila showed up....

And after Katey shared all of her frustrations with her dear friend...

They both decided they would just eat oranges and sing songs at the top of their lungs!

The End

Well... not quite ...

Snow Day

Two days following our family's glorious spring walk, Katey and I went just 20 mins away to visit some dear friends.

And the climate was quite different :)

But it was still a great day of warm coats

...playing with friends...

...And mommy's getting a work out :)

Again...I love spring :)

Out for a walk

Such a gorgeous day, what is there to do but to take a walk with Daddy!

Starting out, big girls don't need strollers...big girls walk!

Ok, but hills don't count :)

Ok now were to the top and its all about "down"!

There are so many tings to look at and so many places to explore!

Mommy took a quit moment to  enjoy the amazing beauty of just one flower, but...

...you take your eyes off of a 14 month old for one second and they are long gone!

"Who me?"

"Ok, I'll just chill here for a min."

"Ok, now I'm off again to find Daddy!"

Time to go home, but not in too much of a hurry to stop and smell the...flowers :)

Oh what a fun spring walk...and as I type this its snowing...hehe I love spring!

A day out!

Its been a tough week but today we decided to get out and enjoy the gorgeous sun! Joe's mom, Shelley, has been gracing us with her presence since Tuesday and we thoroughly enjoyed our morning out together!

Katey ready to go out on the town!

Her & Daddy

Grammy too!

First we went & got some very important Costco shopping done, then took our Costco hot dogs and grapes to the park for a picnic.

After our lunch Grammy & Daddy decided to grab a near by geo cache.

And Katey took off to enjoy her freedom!

And explore!

And of course Mama followed in the manner to which this mama usually does :)

And so did Daddy :)
Then it was off to play with Grammy!

I think she liked the slide :)

And swinging with Grammy!

But most of all, she just liked exploring.

And being the center of attention!

But even really adventurous girls get all tuckered out after a big morning out on the town...

...and need to rest a while before the next big adventure.
Such a fun time on such a pretty day out!
