Katelyn Elizabeth Knapp!!!!

Meet Katelyn Elizabeth Knapp. SHE measures just under 20 weeks and is compleatly healthy :)

YEP ITS A GIRL!!!



(Just a bit of clarification as we've had a few people ask already. The arrow in the above photo is pointing to the "Girly Parts" as Emily so delicately put it. So her legs are forming an almost 90 degree angle. Her left leg is right under where it says "Girl?" and her right leg extends down to the bottom of the photo. This is only one of the angles we saw of this area we also saw a view from the top and the "Boy Parts" were definitely absent. I added a photo with some supreme editing skills to hopefully make things more clear. -Joe)

And legs & toes, she didn't stay put for long though, she was moving all over :)

What she looks like from the outside...20 weeks.We are ecstatic and can't wait to meet our daughter! Only another 20 weeks!

We got a crib!

So my mother-in-law came to visit this weekend and we decided to go "look" at baby stuff today and came home with a brand new crib! We moved the guest bed to the office and started setting up the BABY ROOM!

I feel the baby!!!

I just wanted to let every one know that have started to feel the baby and its amazing! I pretty much realized it for sure (I had wondered for a couple of days) on Thursday night sitting in the living room with friends (after lasagna so I guess the baby likes lasagna). So far it kinda feels like rolling bubbles with occasional jabs. OH OH! And last night i was laying on my back and could feel the baby so i told Joe where to put his hand and he got kicked! It was so cool, he jumped and i screamed "did you feel it!" and it was so cool! Any way, here is a belly pic from this week too, according to the measuring tape I’ve grown 1/2 an inch in the last week & a half :). (We are 18 wks btw)

It’s a pack n play with built in bassinette. We weren’t going to buy anything yet but I drove by a second hand store & fell in love with it J. It looks so cute in our room!

Dixie in July

We're back, some of you didn't even know we where gone, but yes we did just get back from a week visiting my parents in Dixie, ID. It was so much fun, and as you see below, I worked really really hard :).

But most of the time we just sat on the porch talking & studying :)

Ontario & Nampa '08

We went to Ontario & Nampa to visit & got to hold the cutest baby in the whole world. This is Kairi Eulene Townsend (3 1/2 weeks old) and I've known her parents since I was about 15 or 16 years old. We had a bbq in my brothers back yard and just hung out, relaxed and caught up. It was really an eye opener to hold a baby that small and realize that we where going to have one of our very own very soon. We had a really good visit, both with Joe's family in Ontario (we got to play with his cousins baby too who is only 4 1/2 months old), and with my brothers & friends. But I'm always glad to be home.
