This weekend we had the amazing privilege of welcoming Charrissa into our home. She has come to live with us for a while and we are absolutely thrilled to have her join our family!

Katey loves her, especially when she gives her all kinds of yummy things to eat/smear all over herself :) Just thought I'd show you my dainty little princess after dinner last night. Now you wont wonder why I strip her down to her diaper before she eats :).

Welcome Charrissa! We love you and are excited to find out what God has planned for the four of us!

Daddy's Girl

So in preparation for some anticipated future separations we are trying to give Katelyn the bottle (still breast milk) on a more regular basis. Since she only wants the direct approach when Mama tries this task has conveniently fallen to her Daddy. These are just a few captures from this mornings cuddle/bottle time that seriously made me just stand back and go "awww".


I especially love the leg up in the air that says "Yep! Just two people hanging out, cuddling & enjoying a morning bottle." These are definitely moments that warm a Mommy's heart.

9 months!

Can you believe my little angel is 9 months old! Its crazy, now she has been outside my womb as long as she was inside! We are so thrilled and blessed to have her in our lives. I can't imagine life without our little speed-crawler, rasberry-blower, loud-singing, pull-up-on-everything bundle of joy!

So excited to be alive!

Snapshot of 8 1/2 months

Here is just a little snapshot of my mobile little princess. I can't believe how much she's grown in 2 weeks! She went from barely crawling just when you called her or bribed her to speed crawling everywhere, and from pulling up on a few things to pulling up and walking around furniture. She is soo much fun!

Grammy & Grandpa visiting

Tomorrow is Daddy's Birthday and because Grammy & Grandpa are here he got to open his birthday presents early! Mommy got him some new toys for his camera so Me and Grammy & Grandpa agreed to be models...but I took some bribery.

The bribery began with the new baby doll Grammy bought me that afternoon :)

But then it quickly progressed to something yummy and edible...GRAPES :)

"Grandpa, where are the grapes?"

"HaHa! Can't get anything past me!"

I was such a good model as long as the grapes kept coming :)
