Dixie Trip

We had such a blast during our week in Dixie.
Here are some of the highlights.

She looked so cute in her pink snowsuit. You could barley find her in the midst of all that fluff!

1st snow mobileride and she wanted to drive.

My parents cabin in the background, and the two loves of my life in the foreground.

Katey's first campfire, yes look close she is there.

We had to make sure she stayed warm :)

Katey styling her glasses with her Nana.

She thought Pappy tasted good.

She really loves her Pappy...

of course not as much as he adores her.

Playing in front of the pretty wood stove with Daddy

1st ATV ride, Pappy went around in a small circle, on level ground at less than 5 miles an hour...with all of us standing less than 20 feet away :)

Hiking in tee-shirts and snow

Katey sleeping through the most amazing thunder storm I've ever experienced. You can't tell by this photo but it is POURING sheets of rain and thunder clapping so loud it felt like it was an earth quake as we sat warm and dry under the porch just enjoying some God's amazing power.

Such an awesome visit!

Sad news

So, you all know us and know that we could not go for a week without taking pics, especially a week of vacation. And yet, I have no pics to show for the last week in Dixie, Id with my parents. Not to mention that my little brother, whom I'm very proud of, graduated from University of Idaho college of Engineering.

My excuse? Well...I'm blond. Now I know this comes as no surprise to many of you but the blondness has overwhelmed me once again and the result is no pics. The morning we left I shared the pics from our camera with my parents and in the exchange deleted them from our camera. Then to make matters worse I burned a cd of the pics from their camera...and didn't finish it correctly so I got home with a blank cd. So the pictures of Katey's first visit to Dixie, not to mention first snowmobile ride, 4wheel ride and camp fire, DO exist and will be shared when I can get them from my parents computer.

Oh a brighter note, it was a GREAT visit and its so good to be home. Katey is having some risidual affects of bring TOTALLY spoiled by her grandparents but i'm hoping that will fade after a few days. Untill later then...

Big Enough

We are finally big enough to play in the jumper Jessica & Jonathon got us! I've put her in it before but she didn't really GET what you were supposed to do in it. She LOVED it this time!

"This is fun"

Feet finally touch the ground!

Just lounging.

"You know Mom, when you push these thingies they make noise."

Totally mesmerized

"Sweet it moves when I hit it!"

The Zoo!

Saturday we went to the zoo with some friends of mine from high school. Katey is a little young to enjoy the animals, but that didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying her!

These are her new sunglasses. I love them!

Hanging out in the stroller before we went in.

This was her favorite past time :)

This happened all the time. Her bonnet is a little big and tends to fall down in front. But the funny part is she didn't always seem to mind, we'd just look over and she would be absolutely covered by it and perfectly happy :)

"Look at those funny animals Mom! Oh wait, those are people."

Daddy smooches!

I love this smile!

Such a little Diva in her sunglasses!

Such a fun day!

Cuddling with Mama

This was our lazy Sunday on the couch. Any who know Katey know she seldom lays on your chest so this moment was especially precious to mama!

And I have to admit, we've thoroughly obeyed the command on her bottom :)
