Hurt nose on a Daddy's girl

A few nights ago Katey was playing hard and had a fall against a friends brick that resulted from some minor scrapes and a lot of pitty. I had to tell you that upfront so you knew but these pics are really intended to snapshot my little darling in all of her 21 months of age...and as you can see...I definitly got a few of her her most common and endearing faces :).

"Mom, I really dont want photos!" (right after this she tried to put the lens cap back on the camera)

When that didn't work the drama queen came out

Isn't' she a horribly misused child!

So she went to hide in the corner and this glare is one of her trade marks right now, she's very good at it and uses it often to show her displeasure. (hehe and being the kind, caring, photog mom I am, I took pics :) )

Finally I got her to come out a little bit and play a game with me from one of our fav elmo books:)
"Wiggle your toes."

"Wiggle your fingers."

"Now reach them toward your toes."

"Touch your toes."

And then she remembered I was taking pics...and ran away screaming "I not, I not!" :)

But I caught her, and we went outside to wait for Daddy to come home for lunch.
(Doesn't she look so happy with me?"

Her beautiful nose :)

Watching very expectantly for Daddy to come home for lunch...

*Yawn* "Its taking so long."

If this isn't a mischievous look then you show me one that is! I am pretty sure its when she realized I was getting the pictures that I wanted...

And she was done with that!

She can really run fast when she wants to!

But she's cute so we forgive her :)

So finally Daddy came home, and instead of saying "Hi daddy", or anything else, can you guess what she asked for?

"Pops" (aka-Otter Pops, which she only got after she finished her lunch fyi .)

She loves them, but her hands get cold, so her and Daddy have an arrangement. She warms her hands on his belly...

And HE holds and feeds her the cold otter pops!
(haha you tell me she doesn't' have him wrapped around her finger!)

But don't worry, like any good daddy...he gets her back :)

I love that she is her Daddy's girl, and every bit of that affection has been earned by an exceptionally amazing Daddy.

So cute! I was wondering about the lens cap the other day when I looked at the pictures. So funny that she tried to put it on the camera. :)
