February Fun

Trying to catch up a bit on the blogging!  As you can see...it is no longer Feb.  It isn't even march...its actually OCTOBER!!! But I figure better late than never :) So here goes, gonna be short and sweet, just an attempt to chronicle some of our life and stir up memories of these amazing years!

We had snow! (hard to remember it in Oct) but here it is! :)  And oh how I LOVE these chunky little snow suits!

This week was a little crazy, Katey not only had her 3 year check up, but we had a few concerns about her eyes (she had been complaining about them hurting when she tried to concentrate) and her pediatrician Dr Mary Egsiger found 2 cavities!

Eye appt, All was perfect, although she HATED the dilation :)

Then her first trip to the dentist! She was a trooper, loved the sunglasses and the bubble gum flavored tooth paste.

Then, of course, a girls date!  I seriously love my girl so much!


ZOO trip! Our awesome friends Kristin & Jaxon came down from Seattle for a short visit and met us at the zoo :)  

Kristin even used her MAD photo skills to take some pics of me with my girls :)

Katey discovered the ferris wheel at the Clackamas Mall!

Mommy got an idea off pinterest to take the doors off of their closet and make a reading nook! We LOVE it (doesn't she look thrilled?)

Took us a while but after about a month we got lights up in there :)

A couple days later we had the awesome privilege of having our friends Zac, Ty and Kenzie over for the day and we took a walk to the park.  The rule was stay on the sidewalk... :)

Later in the month we were asked by our good friends to enjoy a weekend at the beach with them!!! Um....yeah!!!

After our fun adventure we stopped for some hot coco at a local restaurant  :)

(And on a side note, right after this she exclaimed, IN A VERY LOUD VOICE, that she needed to go #2... but less politely, and had everyone at near by tables cracking up! ) Great memory)

Valentines Girls!

I seriously LOVE taking photos of my girls but it just doesn't happen all that often.  Here was a time we had the studio set up in the garage and Grammy & Grandpa sent them awesome new shirts...I just could't resist!

Tea with Anne!  We had Anne over and as a special treat we had tea upstairs in Katey's room.  It was VERY fun and special :)

It seems so weird that when the ground looks like this...

You start planting!  But Jer is building 8 new raised beds this year so we got to prep a bunch of peas, beans, spinach and lettuce.  The kids loved it!

At the very end of feb Nana & Pappy came to visit so that Mom and Dad could go away for 5 days with Jeramy & Lisa Pietzold...and no kids!!! 

The one photo below is the ONLY pic I took with our camera in Redmond...we were just havign too much fun!  Lisa and I spent over 5 hours at one good will, ahh the freedom of no time constraints!  The guys spent the same amoutn of hours geo caching and together we ice skated, rented movies, ate way unhealthy and played copious amounts of board games! It was an awesome time....oh and WE SLEPT IN!!! That was honestly one of the best parts :)

It was a great feb with LOTS of smiles, lots of actions, and lots of memories :)
