Before my parents arrived (which just happened to be the day after our 104 degree weather!) they decided Katey needed her very own swimming pool for the front porch. So on Friday we searched high and low ALL over Portland area to find one to no avail.
Finally on Friday we heard a rumor there were a few at Fred Meyer and I nearly jumped out of my seat when we saw them (of course my excitement was all for Katey alone!).

We jerry-rigged a covering for her and she just went right in in her swim diaper :)
It is indeed a treat to have a swimming pool for Katey, and it doesn't hurt one bit to have a place to soak your feet in a cold place on a hot day! Thank you Nana & Pappy!
